Managed Bids · scored & qualitative
Win the bid you're scored on.
When the award is decided on technical quality and approach, we write the winning, fully-compliant proposal and submit it on time — you keep the strategy and the price.
The service
What is Managed Bids?
Managed Bids is end-to-end, done-for-you proposal capture for qualitatively-evaluated tenders — RFP, design-build, institutional, and private/developer bids. We map every requirement, write to the published evaluation criteria in the evaluator's own language, and submit a complete package ahead of close. You own the strategy and the price; we own admissibility and the words.
Who it's for
When price is only part of the score
For mid-size contractors — often the next-gen owner modernizing the family firm — moving from hard bids into qualitative work. The skill that wins a low bid is not the skill that wins a scored one: a scored bid is won on the page, against published criteria. That is the craft we bring.
- You have the field record but bids that read thinner than the firm is
- You are bidding RFP, design-build, or institutional work
- You have no in-house proposal team and no time to build one

Three ways to work together
Start with a free audit. Step up to fully done-for-you when you want the proposal off your desk — or to strategy when the win is worth going deeper.
The method
How is the proposal built?
The same seven-step discipline that wins competitive bids — lock the timeline, qualify capacity, analyze the scope, build the response, review twice, submit complete, and monitor to award. It runs the same for a scored RFP and a hard-bid compliance pass.

Does a managed bid pay off?
It breaks even inside a single win, and we bill it as a recoverable project cost — not a software expense. Run your own numbers and see where the line lands for your firm.

For example, on a $2M contract the engagement is a recoverable project cost — a small share of the margin a single win returns.
Illustrative only — not a quote or a guarantee of award.

Managed Bids questions
How is a scored bid different from a lowest-price bid?
A lowest-price bid is won on the number, once you are admissible. A scored bid is won on the page: evaluators rate your methodology, team, and approach against published criteria and weightings. Managed Bids is built for that page — we answer what scores, in the evaluator's own language.
Do you set or change our price?
No. We own admissibility and the written proposal; you own the number. We never prepare takeoffs, quantity surveys, or estimates. Your figure is yours from start to finish — we make sure the bid around it scores and stays compliant.
Which bid types do you handle?
Any qualitatively-evaluated tender: RFP, design-build, institutional and broader-public work, and invited private/developer bids. If quality is part of the score, it is in scope. If you are unsure, send the solicitation and we will tell you in the free audit.
